Summary
When the staff hears rumors that the Scranton branch will be downsized, Michael tries to distract everyone by throwing a birthday party even though the nearest birthday is a month away. Dwight, trying to protect himself from the downsizing, tries to forge an alliance with Jim. Meanwhile, Michael surprises everyone by pledging a very generous amount to a charity event.
